The Israeli Consulate to the Midwest set up a blog for students from the region to post their experiences. Here’s the blurb fro the juf e-lert:
NEW BLOG ON ISRAEL: FOR STUDENTS, BY STUDENTS
From Israel conventions to Israeli movie screenings and food festivals, the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest developed a blog to serve as the central place for college students seeking first-hand accounts of Israel-related events in the Midwest.
So far the posts are interesting, but very party line, safe- what you’d expect from something set up by a Consulate. The comments are moderated and the posts are edited then posted by made by an intern, Julie Cooper, on behalf of the authors. It would make much more sense (and it would be more bloggy) to grant the authors posting priveledges and be done with it. I don’t recall if blogger lets you multi-author a blog, but it shouldn’t be hard. Anyways, welcome to the club Julie and your fellow posters…. http://www.israelinthemidwest.blogspot.com/
I have a blogger blog with 13 writers, so you can totally have more than one. But they are trying it–more power to them.
