The great folks at the UJC’s Rennaissance and Renewal Pillar have asked me to help with their Hadesh West Conference, which will gather Federation and JCC executive types to discuss using Arts and Cultural programming to broaden the definition of Jewish identity and reach young and npresently unaffiliated but culturally attuned audiences. I’m flattered to have been asked, and I’ve assembled a cast of players for a showcase performance event at the conference that is going to make folks salivate. A web page will be published shortly. Best though, was the decision to invite young adults and hillel students to participate. The only thing better than showing Federation execs how to present the culture is showing first-hand its effects on the target audience. Now if they’d only organize one of these in Chicago…
