One of the hottest Jewish rock bands around, Blue Fringe releases 70 Faces with a mix of English and Hebrew originals.

evën sh’siyah blends original music with lyrics taken form an array of classic Jewish texts and their own English lyrics. The band’s musical influences are eclectic, and include folk, rock, Mid-Eastern, and jazz. The band has integrated these genres creating a cohesive and unique musical soundscape of its own.

The Jews Brothers Band breaks the rules of klezmer, unashamedly and with chutzpah: no clarinets, violins or drums, these brothers (plus one sister) just get down to it with chonking gypsy style mandolin, pumping tea-chest bass, blasting brass horn, shakers and finger cymbals, and vibrant melodica and accordion, all aided and abetted by soulful 5-part vocals that sound as if they come straight out of a mediaeval synagogue.

Embracing styles from hard rock grunge to sensually melodic ballads, Heedoosh is a trailblazing fusion of a brooding, mysterious sound with lyrics that convey both the longing for, and imminence of, redemption.

Understands and presents interpretations of music from traditions as rich as gospel, klezmer, nigunim, spirituals, and swing.
